Start your day slow with a homemade breakfast in your cabin, then pack a picnic and hit the road. Head out along Merivale Road into Cape Le Grand National Park and kick things off with a climb up Frenchman’s Peak—guaranteed to get the blood pumping.

Cool off with a swim at Hellfire Bay and settle in for a laid-back picnic lunch. Still feeling the adventure? Make your way to Lucky Bay and see if you can spot a kangaroo lounging on the sand.

Wrap up the day cruising along the stunning 25km beach stretch, landing at Lucky Bay Brewing just in time for a pint of Sandy Hook and a parma ham pizza.

Bread Local Esperance - Multiple takeout containers filled with grilled chicken, mashed potatoes, pickled red onions, green salads, and small cups of dressing.

Kick off your Saturday right—be first in line at Bread Local when the doors open at 8am. Grab a coffee and load up on all the picnic essentials: flaky pastries (both sweet and savoury), fresh sandwiches, and more. Then hit the road to Wharton Beach, just 55km northeast of Esperance.

Spend the day soaking up the sun, chilling by the water, or exploring nearby gems like Little Wharton and Victoria Harbour. On the way back, don’t miss the Condingup Tavern—family-owned for nearly 50 years, it’s the real deal when it comes to outback pub meals.

Hellfire Bay Cape Le Grand National Park Esperance - A scenic beach with turquoise water, white sandy shore, green hills, and a few people walking along the beach.

Start your day with a caffeine fix—grab a coffee from Coffee Cat during the week or hit up New Moon Van on the weekend.

Then, head off on a private hike with Tom from South Peak Adventure, or if it’s Saturday, challenge yourself (and the locals) on a Dempster Head Hike.

Wrap it all up with a grapefruit margarita at The Quarters, some tasty bar snacks, and maybe even catch some live music if you're lucky.
